Adelaide social enterprise fighting poverty with puns

11 November 2019

Love them or hate them, puns are making the world a better place.

Adelaide-based social enterprise, Noteworthy Cards, today launched the Sullivan Collection—a clever range of pun cards featuring adorable watercolour illustrations by Adrienne Sullivan.

Adrienne is a molecular biologist from Adelaide who is currently living in London. Even while studying or working in the lab, she likes to draw little pictures in her notes. She’s excited to support a worthy cause by contributing to Noteworthy Cards, and she hopes some of her cute doodles can bring a smile to someone’s face!

Including encouragement cards like ‘Donut give up!’ and romantic cards like ‘I’m soy into you!’, plus 18 more, pun lovers will be delighted to give and receive these greeting cards that make the world a better place.

Noteworthy Cards donates 100% of profits to fund life-changing gifts for people suffering in poverty. These gifts support community, education, food and livelihoods, good health, safe water and sanitation in multiple countries around the world.

Since launching in April 2018, Noteworthy Cards has sold more than 3,000 cards, covered its start-up costs, and funded over $1,600 worth of life-changing gifts.

Noteworthy Cards was founded by James Agnew, a graphic designer and communications manager in Adelaide, who runs the social enterprise in his spare time because he wants to help people in need.
